Half Year Bush

The half-year bush rootstock mother-plant is grown under careful inspection in isolated open fields. Mother-plants are normally planted in the autumn and grafted in the spring.

Uprooting and planting are done around the end of summer or beginning of autumn. Although the production is done only once a year and in a way limits the grower and nurseryman in terms of quantities and varieties, the plants are very stable and have a high take rate. In addition, bushes can be stored for up to 6 months in cool storage.
